- What is the name of the technology?
Our launch system is named “Roc.” It is the world’s largest aircraft.
- What does it do?
We launch hypersonic aircraft built by our company and have the ability to partner with other companies to launch their vehicles, including rockets.
- How does it work?
We use air-launch, which means we use an aircraft to fly our hypersonic vehicle or a launch vehicle to an altitude comparable to altitudes flown by passenger aircraft. At that altitude, we release our launch vehicles, which then ignite their rocket engine and accelerate towards space.
- How is it better than the older technology?
We can lift weights larger than anything that has been done before. We can also incorporate mission flexibility to launch from a variety of different locations.
- What classes should I take in school to work on this?
Lots of math and science. Remember, science enables you to predict the future.
